Acupuncture is an ancient, safe system of healing


Practiced in the Far East for thousands of years it has been refined, through centuries of experience, into the model that is practiced today.

It has recently become more recognised in the West, and has been used traditionally in China to treat the whole range of health issues from fertility, pregnancy and children´s illnesses, to back pain, allergies and depression. Acupuncture was also used for its cosmetic benefits.

What does Acupuncture feel like?
Acupuncture needles are very fine and feel nothing like an injection. Patients have described the feeling as being like a numbness or tingling sensation, and sometimes limbs can feel heavy. Most people find treatment very relaxing and often fall asleep. 

What Happens when I Book an Appointment?
During the first appointment a full consultation will be taken, and you will be asked questions about your main complaint, as well as questions about your past medical history, lifestyle, diet and emotions. You will also be asked to show your tongue and your pulse will be taken. All this information will help our acupuncturists to make a full diagnosis and give you an individually tailored treatment

How many treatments will I need?
You will be able to discuss this in more detail after the first consultation, but usually you have 3 treatments and then review it. If you are in pain it is quite easy to see if it is working for you. For something like fertility it takes longer to see a result and initially you will notice things like better sleep, digestion or a more regular cycle. If you have a chronic condition it may take longer to treat. Acupuncture can be combined with Tui Na massage, which is a form of massage that is based on the same principles as acupuncture. It can also be used alongside herbs, cupping and gua sha.

Tara Rivero Zea is an experienced acupuncturist who is passionate about women’s health. Her practice specializes in fertility, pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal care.

She began her training in Acupuncture in 2007 and then went on to train in Tui Na which is a Chinese Massage technique. Today Tara often combines acupuncture and massage together to get the best results in treatments.

Her love for all things related to pregnancy, birth and children led her to train as a doula and she completed her training with Nurturing Birth in May 2013.

Tara is also the mother of four young children and used acupuncture throughout her own pregnancies and deliveries. She became interested in treating children with Chinese Medicine whilst nursing her own through a variety of childhood ailments.

Tara then trained with Placenta Remedies Network to become a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. After her third and fourth baby she encapsulated her own placenta, and after feeling the benefits first hand she now offers this service across North and East London and Essex Borders.

Linda Cremin, LicAc, MBAcC, DipTuiNa

Linda studied Eastern Medicine and Acupuncture at The London City College of Chinese Medicine and is a member of the Association of Acupuncture clinicians (AAC). She continued her study in the ancient practice of Tui Na Chinese Medical massage with Sarah Pritchard -the foremost Tui Na teacher in Europe. Acupuncture and Tui Na is one of the oldest systems of natural energetic Healing.

Linda believes if we can restore the balance of Qi -the bodies vital life force or energy than we can help restore blockages and imbalances that can cause symptoms such as pain and disease. Linda is especially interested in working with women and is amazed at how Acupuncture has such a strong emphasis on women’s health at its roots. Linda has experienced the power of acupuncture with her own pregnancies of her three daughters and continues to see its benefits in their lives.

Linda regularly holds women’s circles and teaches belly dance classes which not only promotes positive embodiment and wellbeing, but also can help fertility and women’s health.

Linda believes in treating the whole person -both emotionally and physically- with a strong emphasis for improving and restoring the body’s true healing power. She specialises in Auricular (ear) Acupuncture for addiction and trauma -and has over 20 years experience of working in mental health.


Linda accepts that everything in our Universe is energy vibration at specific frequencies and integrates this work within her treatment. As a Reiki Master, Crystal Healing Therapist and Sound Healer, she has special interest in working with Himalayan sound bowls, tuning forks and shamanic drums to help bring us back to nature, through kindness compassion and love.

Jadelin Gangbo

Jadelin is an experienced acupuncturist and Tui-Na massage practitioner. He is also a father of 4 and a novelist. Although he treats a wide range of physical conditions, he focuses on the treatment of Psycho-Emotional pain, which he believes, plays a role in the onset of many conditions. Digestive, muscular skeletal ailments, insomnia, for example, can arise from anger and anxious tendencies; old trauma can cause depression as much as weight-gain and an array of gynaecological issues.

Jadelin qualified in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2014 at the University of Westminster. He focuses on using his insight of his patients’ emotional landscape, allowing him to see the correlation between emotions, personal history and physical pain in greater detail. He understood that it is not just about needling; for Jadelin, Acupuncture not only heals, but also sets a person back on their path to the pursuit of their given life purpose. Jadelin finds the potential of this medicine is just extraordinary.

Apart from English, Jadelin speaks fluently Italian and French, and is able to communicate fairly well in Spanish. Jadelin is passionate about literature in general and about Chinese Medicine readings in particular.

*Tara offers low cost acupuncture Monday morning. This is cheaper because she runs the 2 rooms together. If you want to access the low cost sessions you need to come for a standard 1 hour appointment and consultation first. Then you can come to the low cost sessions which are on Mondays between 10am-1:30pm (last appointment 12.45pm) and cost £46 for a 45 min session. These are great for fertility and for pre-birth acupuncture or for anyone else who needs regular treatment. You can’t book online for these sessions, please book a regular acupuncture treatment with Tara and then discuss it with her.
